Shame on me... especially given that I teach Darwinian evolution. (Though is strikes me as wonky now that the reaction to the argument was "Don't you believe in evolution?!" To which I knee-jerkily responded, "Yes, of course I do!" Wow, so many assumptions flying around that exchange it's dizzying!)
